The Groove Awards 2016 winners ceremony took place today at the Safaricom Stadium in Kasarani. The event was hosted by Dj Soxxy and Size 8 and was broadcasted live on K24 Tv.
The event featured performances from musicians such as Eunice Njeri, Pitson, Guardian Angel, Gloria Muliro and Mercy Masika.
The 11th Groove awards nominees were announced on April 26th 2016 after a panel reviewed entries to the competition. Public voting for some of the categories was opened on the same date and it ended on 31st May 2016. The winners in some categories were decided by the panel.
Some of the winners included Size 8, Pitson, Mercy D. Lai, Mercy Masika among others. The Gospel Sunday show on Milele FM won Radio Gospel Show of the year at the Groove Awards for the 6th time. Below is the full list of winners of the Groove Awards 2016.
