WhatsApp copies the contacts from your phone to the application once you install it. In fact, there are several ways to find those contacts within the app without much effort.
To recover that deleted contact, you must activate the backup from your device when downloading it. Then, you must enter your Google account on your computer and access your contacts by clicking on the 3 dots that appear in the upper right of the screen.
There you must enter the contact name and copy the number again. Then you can update your contacts in the app.
If you deleted the contact from your phone, you just have to enter WhatsApp and search for its name in the search engine. There you will find the copy of the contact and you can save it again on your mobile.
