The Nation Media Group is still reeling from the loss of a young journalist a couple of days ago and yet again, it has lost another staff member.
This time it is the longest serving cartoonists in Africa, whose comic strip, has been running before the country even had independence.
Edward Gitau the creator of Juha Kalulu passed away at Gatundu District Hospital at the age of 86. Juha Kalulu is such an iconic cartoon strip whose character’s funny antics and loyal wife have entertained generations.
May he rest in peace but he lives us with a rich and vast legacy.
