Popular comedian and digital creator Oga Obinna recently opened up about a sensitive issue regarding one of his baby mamas. Speaking on his online show, the father of four revealed that his request for a DNA test did not go as planned, as one of his baby mamas strongly opposed the idea.
Baby Mama’s Reaction to DNA Test Request
According to Obinna, his suggestion quickly escalated into a heated argument, with his baby mama accusing him of trying to disown their child.
“I told one of my baby mamas that I need a DNA test. Weeeh! It backfired. She asked, ‘What do you mean DNA? You want to disown your child?’ I was like, no, the baby is mine; the result will be positive. Even today, for the guys watching, try your woman. Just tell her you want a DNA test with your kid. Even if you resemble that child, you will see the fire that will be in that house,” he said.
Call for DNA Testing
Obinna further challenged men to request DNA tests, predicting that many women would resist, even when the child is theirs. He argued that DNA tests should not be opposed, as they provide clarity and allow a man to raise a child with full knowledge of their paternity.
“Women should not resist DNA tests; even if the child doesn’t belong to the man, just let him know so that he can raise the baby with that knowledge,” he added.
Mixed Reactions from Netizens
Obinna’s remarks sparked an online debate, with netizens expressing mixed opinions on the subject:
- Ochola_Babes: “The DNA thing always gives an impression that you don’t trust the baby is yours.”
- Waridi: “If someone ever decided to do a DNA test on my child, and it turns out the baby is not his, then without a doubt, the baby is also not mine. I don’t cheat; I replace.”
- MISS WAMBUI: “We do the test, then I leave. I can’t live with a man who doesn’t trust me.”
- Kasongo: “DNA should be mandatory.”
Oga Obinna’s Children Speak on His Relationships
Previously, Obinna had a candid conversation with his children about his past relationships. His youngest daughter recalled an incident where one of his exes gifted her a sweater, only to take it back later. While his son encouraged him to continue introducing his partners to them, another daughter expressed frustration, saying she was tired of being involved in his love life.
The DNA Test Debate Continues
Obinna’s experience highlights the ongoing debate on mandatory DNA testing. While some argue that it is essential for confirming paternity, others believe it reflects a lack of trust in relationships. The discussion remains a hot topic, with different perspectives emerging from both men and women.
