President Uhuru Kenyatta’s twitter and Facebook accounts which boasts of millions of followers, were shut down on 22nd March 2019 in the morning.
According to sources close to the Head of State, his two official accounts had been hacked by unknown persons.
Office of the President Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita confirmed the deactivation.
Before his accounts were ‘hacked’ into, he had fired tough shots towards corruption cartels in the very morning.
“If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally but if you are corrupt we will fight you,” President Kenyatta tweeted.
