Safaricom To Shut Down Five Major Services For Two Days

Safaricom will shut down its 5 major services for two days, from Saturday 7th April to Sunday 8th April 2018.

The five major services which will be interrupted during its second phase of maintenance include

  1. Okoa Jahazi
  2. Sim Swap
  3. Data bundle purchase Services
  4. Flex bundle purchase and
  5. Product purchase

However, the rest of the services such as Mpesa and Voice data will remain active.

Over the past few months, Safaricom which commands a big customer share by over 29 million Kenyans, has faced a bad reputations especially on weekends where their services are occasionally poor following a spate of interruptions pegged on system maintenance
