On the night of Thursday 28th February, angry villagers from Nyang’au in Migori county descended on a homestead believed to be practising witchcraft, set the fire ablaze and killed six.
The dead were taken to Rosewood Mortuary in Rongo town while the injured four escapees were taken to Migori Referral Hospital, said Rongo OCPD Kibet Kirui
Police noted that they were following up with the key investigations
