Kenyan CEOs make the list one of the best paid employees in the country.

With top institutions in Kenya ready to spend big to have the best leaders in the industry, CEOs have nothing to complain about payment.

Here is the list of best paid CEOs in Kenya as of 2021, according to a research done by Wanjiku Report.

1.Gideon Muriuki – 31.37 M

The CEO of Coop Bank aka Cooperative Bank, takes home a whooping 31.37M in Kenyan currency.

This makes him the highest paid CEO in the country.

In a year, he earns more than 376.44M in Ksh.

2.Joshua Oigara

The Chief Executive Office who works with KCB Bank makes number two on the top list of the highest paid CEOs in Kenya by 2021.

This is because Joshua pockets 22.75M in every month. In one year he takes home a cool Ksh. 273M

3.Peter Ndegwa

New Safaricom CEO who came to the thrown in 2020 takes home 9 million per month or 108M every year.

Mr. Ndegwa’s predecessor late Bob Collymore used to take home 32M every month.

4.Allan Kivaluka

Kenya Airways CEO Allan is forth on the list with a monthly salary of 8.5M per month.

This implies that KQ gives him 102M every year

5.Jeremy Awori

ABSA bank CEO is number five on the top earners list with a salary of 8.43M after every month.

In a year, he earns 101.16M

6.John Gachora

NCBA bank linked to President Uhuru Kenyatta pays Gachora 8M every month.

In a year he has already made 96M from NCBA

7.Jane Karuku

The only female in the male dominated world, pockets 7.5M every month and 90M every year.

Karuku is the CEO of famous EABL bear firm

8.Benson Wairegi

Benson earns 6.8M at Britam, making him number 8 on the list.

This makes him 81.6M earner per year.

9.James Mwangi

The long serving CEO at Equity Bank only earns 5.04M every month and 60.48M in a year.

10.James Mworia

CENTUM CEO James Mworia closes the top list of CEO earners in Kenya with a montly salary of just 3.72M.

In a year, the least paid CEO on the list takes home 44.64M
