All was well and good until people started pointing out there was something familiar about a few of her passages.

So familiar, in fact, that they were almost word-for-word replicas of a speech Michelle Obama gave before the Democratic Convention in 2008.

We have listed both passages out in full below, along with the First Lady’s speech, see if you can notice a similarity.

Melania Trump Republican Convention 2016:

From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise; that you treat people with respect

Michelle Obama, Democratic National Convention 2008

Trump 2016
