Students and staff were asked to vacate Nairobi and Athi River campuses by 12th April noon as crisis between the students and the school management of Kenya’s class varsity Daystars after things got out of their hands.
The crisis was brought to light after a failed senatorial meeting between the students and the senate failed to go through over their audit report based on financial management.
Students were locked in the school premises before they were teargased and chased upon by GSU officers.
If there’s any Daystar University parent on this Timeline just know your child is not safe right now. Teargas has been thrown at students and we have GSU cops all over the gate at valley road.

The Daystar University Students Association (DUSA) called upon all the students as they chanted the resignation of some of the varsity’s top managers

Social media went on to digest the standoff
I never thought Daystar University administrators would stoop this low.
Christian faith was thrown out to accommodate looting.
Fbo Fazul I now see why you guys did not want Wachira at that university.
Sad sad sad

As the crisis at Daystar University deepens, the University is churning adverts on NTV and other media houses. That’s how the mainstream media is bribed to look away as the university sinks further into a mess. #DaystarCrisis pic.twitter.com/wiLgMYOqUv
