There is a famous African saying that states, when the bird started flying without patching on branches, the hunter learned how to shoot without missing.
The hunter in this case, are car thieves, who despite the advanced technology application in the car security systems, they are steal making their loot count.
Before cars would be broken into before they went missing, today, they just open your car using a wave signal and your only left with your parking space.
Here are common mistakes to avoid falling into the trap of car thieves
Relying on car security system
A big mistake, work on your own security measures and only use car system when in emergency.
Also use car steering wheel lock system that might put off potential thieves
Parking straight wheels
If you park your car facing the wall and wheels turned into the kerb, you are well off than the driver who did the opposite.
It will give thieves hard times and scare then off rather than a car parked facing away from the way.
Loading Full Tank
Try not to load your car to full tank, perhaps when need be.
This is because when thieves come calling, they can run with your car as far as they want.
A car that is running out of fuel could tempt the thieve to fuel at the nearest filling station, and if they have CCTV, well atleast you have somewhere to start.
Living valuables exposed in the car
Thieves are very encouraged to break into your car if they can spot any valuable through the windscreens.
Try to hide them away if your car is not tinted.
Not hiding car keys
Try to keep your car keys inside RFID Wallets or atleast 20 metres away from the door.
This is because thieves have advanced in technology and can easily relay signals from your car keys to the car
