Surveillance cameras from a supermarket in Japan’s Aichi prefecture showed the moment a man punctured a tire in a woman’s car and followed her until she noticed the accident, immediately approaching to offer help.
The female decided to call the police after recalling that the same thing had happened to her in the parking lot of that store a year ago, Japan Today reported.
According to agents, the detainee, Yoshito Harada, 32, confirmed that he had damaged the rubber, and confessed that he does it to meet the women.
As the news circulated, Japanese Internet users recalled reports from 2013, about a man with the same name and surname, in the same area, and who had punctured more than 1,000 tires in order to find a partner.
At the time, Harada was 25 years old and managed to avoid jail by paying compensation to several victims. There is also a similar complaint from 2016, indicated the aforementioned media.
